Places to Visit in Oregon
There are so many great places to visit in Oregon that have wildlife and places that rescue and rehabilitate animals to return them to the wild. Visiting places that rehabilitate animals help to pay for the cost of feeding and caring for the animals that can’t go back to their natural home because of their injuries. Here are a few. I haven’t been to them all but they are all on my list of places to visit.
The Cascades Raptor Center its a hospital for birds of prey and nature center they have lots of birds that live there permanently. They are in Eugene Oregon.
The Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve has hundreds of acres of wetlands where you can see all types of wildlife. They are located in Hillsboro Oregon.
The Tualatin Hills Nature Park is a couple hundred acres with lots of trails and opportunities to see the local wildlife. They are located in Beaverton Oregon.
The Sauvie Island Wildlife Areaa beautiful area to visit to see lots of waterfowl, birds of prey, song birds and more. They are located in Portland Oregon.
The Portland Audubon’s Nature Sanctuary after visiting the wildlife center take a hike through the sanctuary for more nature and beautiful wildlife. They are located in Portland Oregon
